Fluffs On The Surface (Pilling) |

| The surface of your rug is velours, loop or longpile which means that the wool yarn is open on the tip. Wool is not an endless yarn, it contains short fibers, which become loose during the initial time of usage and appear as loose fluff, also called pilling on the surface. This is a normal occurrence and may be removed with continued vacuuming. Never pull the fluffs manually. | |

Protruding Threads |
|
| Do not hesitate to cut protruding threads that appear above the surface of your rug with a small pair of scissors. Do not pull them out! These threads where concealed in the pile and were not cut during the final shearing process. They usualIy appear during cleaning and after use. | |

Vacuum-Cleaning |
|
| Vacuumcleaning on a regular base – once or more weekly (as needed) - with rotating brushes will clean the carpet and keep the yarn shining. We also recommend to turn your carpet twice a year, so the daily wear and tear will be more even. Following these instructions will certainly help you to enjoy this highquality handtufted designers rug for a very long period of time. | |

Stains |
|
| There are damp and firm stains (e.g. juice or egg). With damp stains take up as much and as fast as possible with a clean white cotton or micro fiber cloth. Subsequently, if necessary, work on with a commercial, biological cleaning agent. Firm stains should be slightly dried, then with a spoon carefully scraped off, afterwards the remainders should be treated as decribed for damp stains. During the stain removal please avoid strong friction of the the pile, work with low friction from outside margin of the stain in direction to it´s center. | |

Basic Cleaning |

| The cleaning of the complete surface of your carpet by hand is not recommended, because the surface may appear uneven and somewhat striped. Instead bring your carpet to a professional cleaner only. Chemical dry-cleaning is not possible, because of the latex-material that is used for fixing the pile threads. Dry cleaning agents and full coverage cleaning, assisted by professional equipment is recommended. | |

Floor pillows |

| The reverse side of our floor pillows are subjected to different wear and tear situations, depending on the floor surfaces in your home. Any hard and/or rough flooring (stone, marble, wood etc.) may result in higher abrasion of the reverse side of your pillow and is not covered by warranty. | |
